Podcast title analyzer

talkcuts' free podcast title analyzer compares your last episode titles by views. Paste 10 or so titles with their views or downloads; it shows what your best titles share, such as a number, a question, a guest's name or a specific detail, and gives 3 title patterns for your next episodes. No AI, nothing uploaded.

Updated 4 November 2026. Free, no AI, nothing is uploaded.

Put the views or downloads at the end, after a dash, a comma or a tab: My title - 1,200 or My title, 1.2K.

3 patterns for your next titles

    Each title, best first

    What does the analyzer check?

    • A number: "5 mistakes", "10,000 listeners", "three questions".
    • A question: has a "?" or starts with a question word: how, why, what, when, where, who, which, should, can, is, are, do, does, did, will or would.
    • A person's name: a guest named in the title. This is a best guess from capital letters, so check the table.
    • Specific: a number, an amount, a time or a name, and none of the vague words like "thoughts", "chat", "journey", "update" or "recap".
    • You: the title talks to the listener ("you", "your").
    • Episode number: "Ep 41:" or "#41" at the start or end.

For each one, it compares the median views of the titles that have it with the titles that don't. It only calls something a pattern when the difference is at least 1.5 times and it also shows up more in your top third than in your bottom third.

How do I use the 3 patterns?

    1. Pick the pattern that fits your next episode.
    2. Fill the brackets with what a stranger would get from listening: a result, a number, a name.
    3. Keep it about as long as your best titles. Put the episode number at the end, if you use one.

    How sure is the result?

With 10 titles, it is a hint. The topic, the guest and the day you posted matter too, and the tool can't see those. Use the same kind of number for every title (for example, views after 30 days), and add more titles to make it steadier.

Good title. Want clips from the episode too?

talkcuts finds the best 2 or 3 moments in your episode and cuts each into a vertical clip with captions, starting and ending on a full sentence.

    Questions

How does the title analyzer work?

It checks each title for six things: a number, a question, a person's name, a specific detail, the word you, and an episode number. Then it compares the median views of titles that have each thing with titles that don't, and lists the differences that are big and also show up in your top titles. It uses fixed rules, not AI.

How many titles do I need?

At least 4; 10 to 20 is better. With a few titles the result is a hint, not proof: the topic, the guest and when you posted matter too.

Where do I find my views or downloads?

On YouTube, in YouTube Studio under Content. For audio, in your podcast host's statistics page. Use the same kind of number for every title, for example views after 30 days.

    Is my data uploaded?

No. Your titles are read in your own browser and never sent to us or saved anywhere.

    Is it free?

Yes. No account and no email.
