Webinar clips and Q&A chapters
talkcuts helps webinar hosts reuse a recording: it picks the 2 or 3 best moments and cuts each into a vertical clip with captions, starting and ending on a full sentence. For the Q&A part, the free Q&A splitter lists every question with its start time, as YouTube chapters or a clip list.
Updated 4 November 2026.
How do I turn a webinar into clips?
- Download the recording from your webinar tool as an MP4.
- If it is longer than 90 minutes, trim it to the part you want clips from.
- Upload it to talkcuts, watch the clips and download the ones you like.
How do I split the Q&A by question?
Paste the transcript into the free Q&A splitter. It finds each question, skips check-ins like "Can everyone hear me?", and gives you chapters and clip times.
What do I get back?
- Your 2 or 3 best moments, each a vertical clip (1080 × 1920 MP4). Short clips are about 25 to 60 seconds; choose "Full thought" and a clip can run up to 3 minutes when the point needs it.
- Each clip starts and ends on a full sentence. A clip that starts late or ends early is re-cut, or left out.
- Big captions with the word being said lit up. If you want, add a short title line at the top, for the first 4 seconds or the whole clip.
- Text to paste for YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- No talkcuts watermark, also in the free trial.

Questions
My webinar is longer than 90 minutes. What can I do?
Trim it to the part you want clips from, for example the talk without the waiting room and the goodbye, then upload that.
Can I get one chapter per question?
Yes. Paste the transcript into the free Q&A splitter; it gives a chapter list for YouTube and a clip list with start and end times.
Do attendees appear in the clips?
Only if they are in the recording you upload. Use recordings everyone in them agreed to share.
