Vertical clips from interview shows, with both people in the shot
talkcuts turns a recorded interview into its 2 or 3 best moments as vertical clips with captions. By default the wide shot becomes a tall clip with both people side by side, so the question and the answer stay in view. You can choose to show only the person talking instead. Each clip starts and ends on a full sentence.

How are two people shown in a vertical clip?
You choose in the upload box, under Clip settings:
- Side by side (the default): both people in the tall frame, one above the other.
- Only the person talking: the frame shows whoever is speaking and switches when the other person talks.
- Side by side, captions in the middle: the captions sit on the line between the two.
What do I get back?
- Your 2 or 3 best moments, each a vertical clip (1080 × 1920 MP4). Short clips are about 25 to 60 seconds; choose "Full thought" and a clip can run up to 3 minutes when the point needs it.
- Each clip starts and ends on a full sentence. A clip that starts late or ends early is re-cut, or left out.
- Big captions with the word being said lit up. If you want, add a short title line at the top, for the first 4 seconds or the whole clip.
- Text to paste for YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- No talkcuts watermark, also in the free trial.
Do I need my guest's permission?
You need the right to share what is in the episode, including what your guests say. Most interview shows cover this when the guest agrees to be recorded; if you're not sure, ask before you post clips.
